We love to share our "Hat of the Day", page with our 2 other blogs. (Kentucky Derby Hats, Hat of the Day,and of course, Del Mar Hat Co.) We started doing "Hat of the Day" during Derby high season, many years ago to introduce our fans to what we are liking on our design tables. Once a piece begins to take shape, some designs just excite, so we want to share them. Today's "hat" is more than a fascinator, almost a hat. The wave is a fun piece, not for the shy girl. It's a sculpted wave of straw with french netting,topped off with a feather quill. The sheer nature of the light weight straw will give admirer's a sneek peak at who's behind the "Wave".
